The Econo panel has a 3/4" high rib at 11" centres running vertically up the panel, with two smaller inverted ribs between the main ribs.

The 26 gauge Econo panel is available in the PVC Barrier Series ®, or PVF₂ Kynar 500 ® paint systems. The 28 gauge Econo panel is available in 5000/8000 Series paint system only.

The Econo panel can be installed directly over existing shingles, or over 1" x 4" horizontal strapping. For new construction, the Econo panel can be installed directly onto 1/2" plywood, or onto 1" x 4" horizontal strapping (24" o/c) with an approved building paper. The Econo panel may also be used for vertical siding applications, as an inexpensive alternative to conventional siding products.
