Barrier Series ® PVC Coating

Steel Tile Co. offers three different paint finishes applied by Baycoat. All profiles are available in the PVC Barrier Series ® finish. The PVC Barrier Series ® finish is resistant to adverse fading, chalking, and peeling, commonly found with lesser paint systems - even in the harshest of environments.

We also offer the 10,000 Series PVF2 Kynar 500 ® paint finish, well suited for high temperature climates. The 10,000 Series PVF2 Kynar 500 ® is a thinner coating system than the PVC Barrier Series ® finish, but is designed with many of the same performance characteristics.

We also offer the 5000/8000 Series Silicone Polyester paint finish. Available for Econo and Standing Seam profiles only. Please call for colour selection.

Coating Process

Unique Water Channel Seam

Steel Tile's unique water channel guarantees a virtually leak-proof roof. Even under severe weather conditions, the Steel Tile water channel directs water away to the eave.

Fast and Easy Installation

Our custom cut long panels make installation fast and easy. Depending on the local building code(s), Steel Tile metal roofing systems can be fastened directly over an existing shingled roof, eliminating the cost and mess of removing shingles.

Accessories

For an exact colour match we manufacture a full assortment of trims and flashings from the same steel as the roofing panels. Also, we can manufacture custom trims for unique flashing details, or prepare flat stock orders upon request. We also have flexible pipe flashings for your plumbing, hydro, or chimney vents. Our fasteners are galvanized with a coating to match the colour of the metal roofing.

Steel Tile Co. is also the manufacturer of a patented snow control device, SNOWLOK ®, made from a polycarbonate. SNOWLOK ® helps to alleviate the avalanche effect of snow falling off of roofs allowing the snow to gradually melt, helping to protect both you and your property.
