The Standing Seam panel is manufactured from 24, 26, or 28 gauge pre-finished steel. The 26 gauge panel is available in either the PVC Barrier Series ® or the PVF₂ Kynar 500 ® paint finish. The 24 and 28 gauge Standing Seam panel is available in 5000/8000 Series, Silicone Polyester paint finish.

The standard panel width is 16", but it can be manufactured up to 20". A 1 1/2” high formed side creates the overlap and underlap legs of the panel.The pan section of the panel also has two smaller ribs to provide strength along the vertical length of the panel. Each panel is fastened to the roof substrate by clip located between the two panels. When stitched together by a seamer, the clip and the adjacent pans fold together, hiding the clip, creating a weather tight seal, making the Standing Seam panels ideal for a low slope roof. A 1 1/2" wide batten system can also be manufactured, to create a wider and heavier appearance for large roofs.
